Born and raised in South Africa, her love for horses was ignited at a young age, leading her to dedicate herself to the pursuit of excellence in equine breeding and horsemanship. With a diverse background in education and trauma counseling, she has seamlessly integrated her passion for animals and therapy into her life’s work.
Background and Experience: With extensive experience in education and trauma counseling, Annemie’s journey has led her to various corners of the globe. She has spent significant time in Europe and Southern Africa, where she owns and operates equestrian businesses. In the Republic of Ireland, her family owns and operates an equestrian center specializing in traditional Irish cobs, crossbreeds, and warmbloods for their riding school and therapeutic riding center. In South Africa, apart from her role as the passionate owner of Andamar Stud, she runs an equestrian tourism and adventure company, “E-Quest”, catering to equestrians from around the world seeking unforgettable riding experiences.
Passion for Breeding: Despite her diverse ventures in the equestrian world, her true passion lies in selective breeding, particularly of Arab horses crossed with top sport horses, to create the ultimate athlete.
